The weather in the Everest region is variable and can change rapidly. It is important to be prepared for changing conditions. The region is generally cold and dry, with temperatures decreasing as you climb higher.
The best times to visit are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is stable and clear. During these seasons, temperatures range from 10°C to 20°C during the day, dropping to -10°C to -5°C at night. At higher altitudes, temperatures can drop below freezing.
The monsoon season (June to August) brings heavy rain, making trekking difficult. It is not recommended to visit during this time.
Packing should include layers, warm clothing, proper hiking boots, and waterproof gear. Being prepared and visiting during recommended seasons will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
