Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Upon arrival at the airport, meet and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, you have an option to be escorted stroll around Thamel and the local streets of Kathmandu.
Day 02: Visit Major Buddhist sites in Kathmandu.
Early in the morning drive to Dakshinkali temple, which is 22 kilometer outside Kathmandu. come back to hotel and take breakfast. Afternoon visit Pashupatinath temple, Guheshwori and drive to Saga Mahadev. Evening Aarti at pashupatinath again.
Day 03 :Drive to Namo Buddha Monastery
We will drive to Namobuddha Monastery to visit this famous site where Lord Buddha offered his body to a hungry tigress who was starving with several cubs. We will spend a night in Namo Buddha and join in chanting course with the Monk
Day 04:Drive to Pokhara
Early morning Wake Up and chanting with Monk and Breakfast with monk and drive to Pokhara, which is beautiful city we can see full annapurna range as like mirror and himalayas are reflected in Phewa lake
Day 05:Visit Buddhist Pilgrimage site in Pokhara
This day we will visit some of the Buddhist places of Pokhara and also enjoy the nature's beauty of Pokhara. Firstly, we will visit World peace stupa which is constructed by Buddhist monks from the Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji organization above the Phewa Lake. From the top of the stupa, we can enjoy the splendid view of mountains as well as Pokhara valley. And then we will visit the Matepani monastery. Late afternoon we drive to Hyangja which is the site of Tibetan refugee camp who escaped Tibet after the Cultural Revolution in China. Finally, We will do boating on Phewa lake
Day 06 : Drive to Lumbini
Lumbini is 270 kms from Pokhara, 7-8 hrs of non stop drive. Lumbini is located in the south-central Terai of Nepal, situated in the foothills of the Himalayas. For millions of Buddhists the world over, Lumbini is the place where Lord Buddha the Light of Asia - was born in 623 B.C.
Day 07 : Explore in Lumbini
Today, we will visit the world's famous Buddhist religious and historical places of Lumbini. The area is surrounded by the monuments, temples and ancient sites. Lumbini is also listed in the UNESCO world heritage site. We will visit Mayadevi temple, where Lord Buddha was born and Pushkarini Pond where the baby Siddhartha was given his first bath after the birth. There are many Buddhist temples founded by the devotees from the different countries. An inscription on a pillar erected by Maurya Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC. authenticates that the Buddha was born at this spot. Now archaeological excavations have discovered the marker stone at the basement of the Maya Devi Temple. It is believed to have been laid there by Emperor Ashoka to denote the exact scared spot. There is the Buddha first put his foot on earth.
Day 08 : Drive to Kathmandu
After Breakfast we will drive to Kathmandu Today is last day of the nepal trip for this time we celebrate Farewell dinner in local nepali cultural restaurant
