This was my second-time trek with Mr. Bhakti after 7 years. It was an amazing trip for 6 of us. The price he quoted was reasonable. He even bought us for last-minute shopping (very good price compare with another shop in Kathmandu) and make sure we were well equipped before our 12 Days EBC journey.
Our journey began with 4 hours ride from Kathmandu to Manthali Airport, Ramechhap at 2am in the morning. It was last minute change due to Kathmandu Airport declared closure for domestic flight from Kathmandu Airport to Lukla. Mr. Bhakti has taken care of our transport with NO extra charge. The 1st-day trek from Lukla to Phakding was greats, we reached Phakding guest house at 3pm. However, 2 of our baggage was a delay. I appreciated to our porter for stay back at the Lukla airport and finally got our baggage at 5pm. The only thing we need to do was enjoying the beautiful scenery. All accommodation and food had been taken care of by Mr. Bhakti. He even makes sure we had fruits after a meal. Unfortunately, 2 of us had diarrhea during the trekking. Mr. Bhakti really took care of us. He even upgrades the accommodation with attached private restroom without any additional cost from us. During the trek, if you feel not well, Mr. Bhakti and the porters will carry our bag and make sure we feel easy and trekking without any load. Our porter was amazing too, normally they reach guest house earlier than us. But they did turn back to make sure anything is ok for us. There was a time our porter bought us electral powder for 1 of us had serious diarrhea during the trek to Namche Bazaar. Lastly, thank you so much to our guide Mr. Bhakti and our porters to make this wonderful journey happen. https://bit.ly/2Y7kZHv Visited EBC with Bhakti and his team during April climbing season.
Bhakti and hist team took real care of us and make sure we are comfortable, enough food and water throughout the trip and fit enough to make it to the end point which is not easy in the first place. While many tourist are stuck at airport due to peak climbing season, Bhakti which is experienced enough made special arrangement picked us at the city and represented us at airport make sure that we are able to board the plane on time and arrive safely. Bhakti gave us more than enough advice before and during the trip to make sure that we are well prepared for this trip. If we do not have enough gear, Bhakti even bring us to shop around in the city before heading to the mountain. For anyone who want to truely enjoy their EBC trip, Bhakti is the man to look for. https://bit.ly/32fwcVo I went with a group of friends and took the 13 days trek to Everest Base Camp with Big Sky Treks & Expeditions Pvt Ltd Nepal. Our guide was Bhakti Devkota, who took care of us every minute of the trip. This included making sure we had clean water, ordering all our meals, setting and enforcing our schedule, being prepared in case of an emergency (like altitude sickness and diarrhea) and even simpler things like having fruit sliced for us at the end of every dinner. I don't think we would have made it all the way to Base Camp without Bhakti's constant help and care. Our porter was amazing too, literally lifting a huge weight off our shoulders like it was nothing!
The trek itself is beautiful, but it can be very demanding if you have little trekking experience. We followed Big Sky Treks & Expeditions Pvt Ltd Nepal’s and Bhakti's equipment guidelines to the letter. Accommodations were very good for the trek and the season. Always ask if you can upgrade to a better room if available (with a private bathroom, for example) since it's not very expensive to do so. Big thanks to Big Sky Treks & Expeditions Pvt Ltd Nepal for all their help before, during and after the trip. Special thanks to our guide Bhakti Devkota and our porter, who always went the extra mile especially during the trekking period when I was having diarrhea and was vomiting, they take care of me and I felt safe and well looked after. Once again thank you to our guide, Bhakti that made this such an enjoyable adventure. https://bit.ly/2Jw2dRT I did the EBC trek with a group of friends and Bhakti and his team was everything I could ask for in a guide and more. From the start by meeting us at our Kathmandu hotel, he settled all logistics and administration, leaving us as free to enjoy our trip to the fullest. This included bringing us shopping for last minute supplies (he gave a packing list to make sure), settling the flight to lukla (had to take a 4 hour ride to an alternative airport as Kathmandu Airport were not doing flights to lukla) and making sure we had a bed and full stomachs everyday during the trek.
I am happy to count Bhakti as a friend after this trip, and would not hesitate to recommend his company to anyone who wants to trek Nepal. https://bit.ly/2S9XY13 This April we returned to Bhakti and Big Sky Treks team for the 3rd consecutive year trekking the ultimate EBC. Bhakti still shines in Khumbu with his flawless management skills and a heart to serve. A transport inconvenience (due to runway maintenance, all flights to/from Lukla being rerouted from Kathmandu airport to Ramechhap, 4-5 hrs drive away) had no effect at all on our trip. Bhakti did everything to ensure our flights and transfers went according to plan. As always, great choices of accommodation, foods and a well-structured timeline. Despite the elevation and climatic drama, we ate well, slept well and had a whale of a time with Bhakti and team. The younger team members (Amrit and Robbie as well as the two fine porters Nirkumar and Tek) were incredibly well-blended, efficient, and delightful. That’s solid quality and what makes all of our treks with Big Sky Treks achievable and very special..
Thanks so much for a wonderful EBC experience. We love you all. See you next trip! https://bit.ly/2XGst4x This is my 2nd trek with Bhakti. We went during winter period, and celebrated our Christmas in the mountains! We are glad and happy to experience the first snow when trekking from MBC to ABC! With the snow, of course the difficulty and danger increased. Bhakti our Guide and Rabi, our young and handsome Porter took great care of my daughter and me throughout the trek. Safety is always on Bhakti mind. He cannot stress enough the importance of us wearing the sunglasses especially in the snow. Also prepared the crampons for us for trekking on snow! He also always checked on us if we are ok without AMS symptoms. With his help, we successfully complete our mission! The view, the mountains, sceneries ... are magnificent and breathtaking! It’s a trek you shouldn’t miss!

Hope see you next time for long trekking https://bit.ly/2LNMejv Bhakti provided some vital and very thorough information to allow our planning of the Annapurna Circuit Trek (ACT) in mid January 2019. Although Bhakti was unable to assist us as a guide due to the short notice, he forwarded a lot of safety information which made our trek workable in the tight timeframe. A very professional business that ‘followed up’ and monitored our progress throughout ACT. In future, I would not hesitate to use the services of Bhakti!!
https://bit.ly/2NZwHzI It was great experience trekking to ABC. The view was so mesmorizing n with ur company bakti dai, it made our trek easier n worth remembering... thank u dai. Love from all of us.
https://bit.ly/2S9jt25 We did a two-week AC in April using a combination of jeep, bus and walk (from Chame to Marpha). The trek was wonderfully organised by Bhakti Devkota of Big Sky Treks and team. Shorter than the classic AC but we obviously walked the nicest parts without sharing too much of the trail with road traffic. A jeep ride from Besisahar to Chame can be mentally challenging for some, but a staple if you want to keep the timeframe within two weeks. This is a long trek over gradual ascent- no dramatic knee lifting or climbing boulders but nevertheless a high altitude hike that demands a trail fit, well- prepared trekker. There are plenty of alternative routes to choose and side-treks to enjoy, depends on your physical strength, time, and interest. Acclimatisation hike to Ice lake is terrific if you have stamina, or a few days off the main AC trail to Tilicho lake - though the visit needs cooperative weather (we had to skip it due to continuing snowfall).Thorong La crossing to Muktinath is pretty brutal but doable and soul rewarding. Annapurna Circuit is so beautiful and unique - a legendary national treasure and a ‘must’ for all trekkers.
https://bit.ly/2JtcT3r I know you are searching for the trustworthy agency for the trek. Yeah, you are in the safe zone now. Because all the agencies are not for you and made for your satisfied trips.Ok see,If you are planning for trekking and if this is your first experience going to be happened, then same though sparks you are bombing with. What to do? where to stay? what If I suffered with altitude sickness? what to carry and what not to? Whats the budget ? As Im a student I cope those questions easily . Even I trust my footsteps as they are made firm with my tour guide and mentor Bhakti ji. He is really an experienced major tourist guide ever I found on my route. He is really a great human being full of humanity and hospitality . With the polite words he explained all the details found on the way. Not only that he has superfine knowledge on various aspect of Nepali culture, literature and politics. He is a healer for your pain if you are suffered with. He will help you every second with the smile. As I was with my other three friends , we are out of the money. He has shown his great heart of helping us in that situation. Thank you Bhakti dai for your such a courage to help us. I was feeling as if I was with my family . So the trip ended very refreshning and full of positive vibes, cool mind and real meaning of life. I must thank Big Sky Treks and its entire team.

https://bit.ly/2YNlljm My daughter and myself make it to ABC successfully! We cannot achieved this without the help of Bhakti (the guide) and Rabi (the porter)! It's a doable trek but there's few dangerous zone especially when there's snow during this period, and they helped us whenever we needed it. Bhakti has been very flexible and accommodating to our needs, and adjust the itinerary accordingly to our stamina and fitness. He even prepared and provided us the crampons knowing we did not bring. My girl forgot to bring her sunglass along, and Bhakti was very nice to get her one along the way, as he knows the glare in the snow is very bad for the eyes. Safety first is always in his mind!
https://bit.ly/2GahpSJ I loved and enjoyed this trek. Although the journey to Poonhill was tough but we maseeing the breathtaking, magnificent Annapurna Himalayan Range! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Trekking Guide Bhakti Devkota and his team Porters, Raju, Bharat & Yamalal. Bhakti has shown great leadership, giving us good trekking advises even before our trip, and accommodated/adjusted to our last minute requests. He provided a personalised services to me and to my team too, and I felt sincerity. I had sprained my ankle while trekking, and he took great care of me.
